Who we are
We are a non-profit organization based in Genève, Switzerland, founded by a small team of multidisciplinary people who believe that the only possible future is the one where by we reconnect to our own nature as human beings and assume our role and responsibility as part and care-takers of the ecosystem we live in.
Our objective is to create and promote holistic and innovative practices for human wellbeing and sustainable management of natural resources.
Meet The Team
Founder-General Director
Carolina is a Biologist, with a Master in Ecology and Animal Conservation (Simón Bolívar University, in Caracas, Venezuela), specialized in bird ecology, wildlife management, community-based conservation, ethnobiology and management of protected areas. She has been working since 1996 in NGOs and institutions (such as Wildlife Conservation Society, INPA, Instituto Piagaçu and PROVITA) coordinating research and conservation programs for threatened species and habitats in Venezuela and Brazil. She is fluent in Spanish, English, Portuguese, French, and moderately Swedish. She is also a visual artist inspired by nature and a Certified Instructor of Meditation and Mindfulness (by the World Peace Initiative Foundation). Boris Marioni
Founder-President
Boris is a Biologist, PhD (2020) by the Post-Graduation Program of Fresh Water Biology and Inland Fisheries of the National Institute of Research in the Amazon (INPA, in Manaus, Brazil) and Master in Biology at the University of Neuchâtel (Switzerland). His PhD thesis was about the ecology of Amazon caimans, species with which he has worked for the last 20 years. He also has experience with community-based natural resource management, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and speaks and reads fluently Portuguese, Spanish, French, Italian, and English. He worked with local NGO's in the Brazilian Amazon for 12 years, participated in an international ornamental fish export company for 5 years (2016 – 2021).
Vice-President
Griscia has been captivated by the wonder of human beings for 20 years. He graduated as a social educator and practiced this profession with families and their children. At the same time, he felt that the meaning of life was to find his place on earth and to express it in the most authentic way possible. Since 2005, he has been committed to expanding the consciousness of his body, his way of thinking, emotional reactions and belief system. This has been reflected by the study and practice of different techniques of bodywork, yoga, breathing, meditation and Reiki. Later, he added the skill of coaching to help people find the foundation in their being. Today, the conscious movement and dance of 5Rhythmes® has allow him to feel more and more free, while feeling connected to his body and soul. Angelo Ravano
General Secretary
Economic politics graduate at University of Neuchâtel-Switzerland (2001), faculty of law and economics.
Carried out a Master in Anatomy of Shipping at the Seatrade Academy of Cambridge-UK (2003).
Influenced by some family activity within the shipping industry, he actually works for a global shipping company with 10 years experience in the industry passed in Brazil.
Sport fan since ever, he was always interested in body and spirit health, discovering yoga benefits. At the beginning just as a practicing, he followed several formation classes, getting his teacher certificate in 2019. He then turned himself an instructor for traditional practices (pranayama, asanas, nidra) with particular attention to breath energy and present moment consciousness.
He speaks and read fluently Italian, French, Portuguese, Spanish and English.
